It is the story millions of readers across the globe have been waiting for - a follow-up to Dan Brown's blockbuster, The Da Vinci Code.
Like the Code, it does not pull its punches and claims to reveal "a simple but astonishing truth - who really died on the cross".
But the latest tale of biblical intrigue, which stretches from Bethlehem to The National Gallery in Edinburgh, has been written by a Scots author who claims to be the first to have cracked the true secret of the Code.

Jack Lawson says he is ready to reveal the much bigger and "truly cosmic discovery" which even the bestselling Brown failed to find.
Mr Lawson, 57, from Glasgow, researched and wrote his first novel, the Moonlit Messiah, five years before Brown's bestseller. He even submitted his manuscript to the same publisher behind Brown, but it was rejected at the time because it would be difficult to find a market for it.
But now, in his second book, The Joseph Secret, Lawson claims he is set to disclose the greatest secret of the past 2000 years, cracking the mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau which forms the subject of the Da Vinci Code and many others.
Lawson said: "On October 13, I am able to disclose a simple but astonishing truth, who really died on the cross, along with a simple proof accessible to anyone who has any version or translation of The Holy Bible.
"The secret is so potent as to compel modifying the doctrine of Christianity which is founded upon the unique event of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ."
Just as he decided in 1994 to write the Jesus-Mary Magdalene bloodline story as a work of fiction, to reach people and change fixed mindsets, so Lawson will present the new disclosure as a work of "investigative fiction".
