Pat Robertson has been problematic for those of us who believe a Christian leader and his organization be examined according to the Scripture so we can "test the spirits" to see if they come from God [1 John 4:1]
Christian lawyer and author, Constance Cumbey, devotes a chapter in her book to Pat Robertson and his CBN and '700 Club'. Let us examine the facts as she reveals in her Chapter, "Secret Kingdom", of her book, "A Planned Deception: The Staging of a New Age Messiah ".
1) "They seek to 'usher in Christ's reign right here on earth'. Such is not a Biblical goal." [P. 147] Constance is entirely correct. One can point to absolutely no Scripture that tells Christians to "usher in Christ's reign right here on earth". However, several cults do exist which teach this falsehood. Our shock is that a Christian leader with the Fundamental aura such as Pat Robertson would teach such heresy. This heretical doctrine is known as "Dominion Theology".
2) Pat Robertson "has denied Biblical inerrancy". [Ibid., p. 148]. This is serious heresy, and one which will instantly disqualify Robertson as a Fundamental, true Christian leader, no matter how many times he invokes the name of Jesus Christ during his programs. Adolf Hitler invoked the name of Jesus Christ regularly, especially in connection with his national church, also known as "Positive Christianity".
3) Pat Robertson has also given a friendly audience to blatant New Age adherents like Jeremy Rifkin and Alvin Toffler. Other New Age leaders promoted on Robertson's show are Richard Foster, Bruce Larson, Robert Schuller, and even Dennis Waitley. [Ibid., p. 148-9]
4) "Pat Robertson has given several prophecies that have not come to pass. He prophesied that the Tribulation would begin in 1982, and when that did not happen, in 1984." [Ibid.]
Pat Robertson teaches doctrines that, while not Biblical, are certainly occult. For example:
* Robertson teaches his followers "they can visualize and use other powers for God". [Ibid.] Whenever you hear the words, "visualize", you can be sure you are hearing New Age/Satanic dogma.
* Robertson teaches the occult "Laws of Reciprocity", which he passes off as coming from God! His book, "The Secret Kingdom", puts forth these laws, which look very convincing at first blush. However, read closely, you can see that these laws depend upon a person reciprocating positively to an initiative; if the recipient of an action does not positively reciprocate, the originator is freed from responsibility for further positive action. In other words, the Laws of Reciprocity depend upon man's conditional love, not God's unconditional love.
Further, Satanists use the words, "Law of Reciprocity" to express their concept of Karma! [Cumbey, p. 177]
Do not be deceived: Satanists teach the Law of Reciprocity; Christian leaders cannot not be teaching such occultism and still be thought of as Christian.
Robertson's occult teachings continues :
* On the hardcover flap of "The Secret Kingdom", Pat Robertson teaches, "The kingdom of heaven exists now, here. Although it is spiritual and invisible, it governs the material and visible. It operates in a rather specified manner."
This "revelation" sounds an awful lot like the satanic revelation from Master D.K. through Alice Bailey, in her monumentally important blueprint for achieving the Kingdom of Antichrist, 'The Externalisation of The Hierarchy' . Listen: "... the long-awaited kingdom of God is simply the appearance of soul-controlled men on earth in everyday life and at all stages of that control ... The fact will appear that the Kingdom has always been present but has remained unrecognized ..." [P. 588-9]
Robertson is teaching his Christian audience Satanic doctrines couched in Christian language!
* Robertson actually advocated the New World Order [P. 15, "The Secret Kingdom" ] Listen: "I knew we would have to reach into the invisible world that has been there all along, a world far truer than any civilization in history ... Is there truly an invisible world of the spirit? Is it possible to draw help from that invisible world? Can there be a new world order? Yes." [Ibid.]
Alice Bailey talks about that invisible world, in her Satanic book, 'The Destiny of the Nations' . Listen to spot the parallels with Robertson's statement, above. "... all that serves to thin or tear away the veil between the worlds wherein those who have no physical bodies live and move and work and the worlds of outer form is the work of the white magician." [p. 42]
* Robertson's 700 Club celebrated "International Forgiveness Week" in 1985, the same exact week that the Lucis Trust celebrated it! This project was announced many years before by Alice Bailey's "Tibetan Master" in 'The Externalisation of the Hierarchy', p. 165. This spectacle should have saddened genuine Christians, for the 700 Club, Lucis Trust, and Tara Center were celebrating exactly the same occult project at the very same time!
Now that we can see that Pat Robertson is simply clothing New Age concepts and goals in Christian terminology, we can see that his Christian Coalition is simply an extension of him. When you look past the outer shell, you can see the truth. This fact means that the Christian Coalition is not the Fundamental, Christian organization -- the Religious Right -- they are portrayed to be. The best thing you can say about Christian Coalition is that it is Liberal Protestantism, in practice denying the very Savior they say they are serving!

Conservative evangelist Pat Robertson accused of damaging movement he helped create By SONJA BARISIC (Associated Press Writer) From Associated Press February 18, 2006 7:12 PM EST NORFOLK, Virginia - Fellow conservative religious leaders have expressed concern and even open criticism over evangelist Pat Robertson's habit of shooting from the hip on his daily religious news-and-talk television program, "The 700 Club." The Christian Coalition founder and former Republican presidential candidate has said American agents should assassinate leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and suggested that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for pulling Israel out of the Gaza Strip. Some observers say Robertson, who will turn 76 next month, courts controversy as a strategy to stay recognizable and keep his followers mobilized. Others say he remains important to the evangelical movement that he helped create when he established the Virginia Beach-based Christian Broadcasting Network in 1960 - but he needs to stop damaging it with his words. He canceled a speech planned for this coming Tuesday at the closing banquet of the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Dallas after NRB leaders said they were concerned that his appearance could detract from the event. "He is in a very visible leadership position and comments such as recent ones related to Mr. Sharon and so many others are misinformed and presumptuous and border on arrogance," said David Dockery, president of Union University, a private college affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Dockery suggested Robertson might want to consult other theologians "before making these pronouncements so quickly." "It puts the evangelical movement in a bad light when that happens because people make broad generalizations, rightly or wrongly, all the time," said Dockery, who also is chairman of the board for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Robertson, through a spokesman, declined to be interviewed by The Associated Press. He recently said on ABC television's "Good Morning America" that he ad-libs his comments after watching news segments. He later told the Christian magazine "World" that he is being more careful and reviewing news stories before going on the air because "I have seen an intensity of attack against me that is unparalleled in the 40-some years of the broadcast." He apologized after facing swift condemnation for his Jan. 5 statement that Sharon was punished for "dividing God's land." Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's ethics and religious liberty commission, has said he was "stunned and appalled that Pat Robertson would claim to know the mind of God concerning whether particular tragic events ... were the judgments of God." Robertson cited other demands on his time when he canceled his speech to the National Religious Broadcasters convention. NRB President Frank Wright told Associated Press Radio that Robertson was not asked to cancel, but he said NRB leaders did worry that the firestorm over his Sharon comments would detract media attention from the convention's focus. Robertson is on the group's board of directors. Robertson started out as a Southern Baptist, but today he is a charismatic evangelical and believes that God is involved in guiding world events, said Barry Hankins, professor of history and church-state studies at Baylor University. He tries to interpret contemporary events as "being part of the drama of God's activity in the world." "He puts the most fantastic spin on things to have a gripping quality about them to keep the ground troops alert," Hankins said. On the other hand, Brian Britt, director of the Religious Studies Program at Virginia Tech, said Robertson's remarks are not just "off-the-wall, crazy uncle stuff" but part of a strategy that earns him headlines. When people attack Robertson, he wins sympathy for appearing to be an underdog, Britt said. "It reinforces an image of Christianity as a persecuted religion, a religion that is being hounded by the secularists out of the public square, rather than a dominant and hegemonic force," Britt said. --- Eds: Associated Press Radio reporter Steve Coleman contributed to this report from Washington, D.C. --- On the Net: Christian Broadcasting Network: www.cbn.com/Pat Robertson: www.patrobertson.com/Copyright 2005 Associated Press.

Associated Press Writer
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Television evangelist Pat Robertson said Monday on his live news-and-talk program ``The 700 Club'' that Islam is not a religion of peace, and that radical Muslims are ``satanic.''
Robertson's comments came after he watched a news story on his Christian Broadcasting Network about Muslim protests in Europe over the cartoon drawings of the Prophet Muhammad.
He remarked that the outpouring of rage elicited by cartoons ``just shows the kind of people we're dealing with. These people are crazed fanatics, and I want to say it now: I believe it's motivated by demonic power. It is satanic and it's time we recognize what we're dealing with.''
Robertson also said that ``the goal of Islam, ladies and gentlemen, whether you like it or not, is world domination.''
In a statement later Monday, Robertson said he was referring specifically to terrorists who want to bomb innocent people as being motivated by Satan. In the news story, he noted, radical Muslims were shown screaming: ``May Allah bomb you! May Osama Bin Laden bomb you!''
Angell Watts, a Robertson spokeswoman, said in a telephone interview that the news segment also included comments from a moderate Muslim in the United Kingdom saying radicals don't represent most Muslims in that country.
Robertson's Virginia Beach-based network did not include his remarks when it posted the program on its Web site, however. That decision was made out of concern Robertson's remarks could be misinterpreted if viewed out of context, Watts said.
Monday's comments were similar to remarks he made on his program in 2002, when he said Islam ``is not a peaceful religion that wants to coexist. They want to coexist until they can control, dominate and then, if need be, destroy.''
Robertson has come under intense criticism in recent months for comments suggesting that American agents should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip.
Robertson recently told ABC's ``Good Morning America'' that he comments off the cuff after watching news segments. He later told the Christian magazine World that he's being more careful and reviewing news stories before going on the air.
The Rev. Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, called Robertson's new comments ``grossly irresponsible.''
``At a time when inter-religious tensions around the world are at an all-time high, Robertson seems determined to throw gasoline on the fire,'' Lynn said in a statement.

Hypocritical 'Christians' do Christianity no favors
Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | March 14 2006
Pat Robertson is back on the news treadmill after telling his viewers that Islam wants to take over the world and is not a religion of peace, and that radical Muslims are "satanic." Robertson's past comments underscore the fact that nobody other than Robertson himself has done more to desert so-called Christian principles.
Firstly, no matter how idiotic, Robertson has a right to say whatever he likes under the 1st Amendment. This isn't a 'hate speech' issue. The issue is that Robertson is a complete hypocrite and he is aiding the downfall of Christianity in America by defaming every major tenet of the Bible.
In April 2001 Robertson supported China's brutal policy of forced abortion and said that the Communist country was "doing what they have to do" in keeping population numbers down. It is not Christian to advocate even voluntary abortion on the part of the mother, never mind such a tyrannical model of forced abortion as part of a wider eugenics agenda as is the case in China.
Whenever the subject of implantable chips has been raised on the 700 Club, Robertson has whitewashed the issue, saying that it doesn't represent the mark of the beast and that Christians should not be concerned about it. This directly contradicts the Bible and Revelations.
Last year Robertson caused waves when he advocated the assassination of Venezuelan populist president Hugo Chavez. In doing so Robertson is nailing his colors to the wall as a firm minion of the New World Order. Chavez has rallied against the Globalists at every turn, including his recent spat with Vincente Fox and his rejection of the FTAA.
Robertson has been caught on numerous occasions flashing El Diablo Satanic hand signals on his show and soft-peddling for the beast system by telling Christians not to worry about Big Brother surveillance and biometric scanning.
Robertson is pro Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove Bush, pro war, and pro government. He is a modern day Judas Iscariot. How does this help an image of Christianity that has already been hijacked and soiled by evil men who veil themselves in religion to obscure mass criminality?
Atheists channel surfing reach the God Channel, CBN and Trinity Broadcasting Network and are confronted by maniacal drooling televangelists who bark like dogs and claim to have the power to save someone's life by touching them on the head. They see the ravings of these demented lunatics and immediately say to themselves, "if that's God I want nothing to do with it."
Texe Marrs has exposed these scribes and pharisees for who they are, most notably in his video The Blind and the Dead.
We have thousands of different sects nitpicking about whose bizarre interpretations of Biblical minutia is correct while ignoring the crystal clear fundamental basics of how to successfully live your life using the example of Jesus Christ.
A culture that drills into people's heads that being cool is about mindlessness and wearing the right trainers doesn't help either. Don't talk about politics or religion! Simon Cowell said something funny last night on American Idol, let's twitter on about that for hours while the house around us burns to the ground!
These factors have directly led to the near destruction of Christianity in Europe and replaced it with Hollywood fad driven faux 'spirituality' like Kabbahlah, which you can trace right back through Anton LaVey, Aleister Crowley and the origins of Satanism itself.
"The goal of Islam, ladies and gentlemen whether you like it or not, is world domination," says Robertson.
The only Muslim invasion taking place is on the immigration front and it's being promulgated and given safe passage by the very government's supposedly fighting radical extremists. The clash of civilizations is being deliberately engendered so the elite can swoop in and pick up the pieces after civil society and the economy go down in flames.
Pat Robertson is an agent of the Globalists and his controversial comments only serve to enhance their Satanic agenda of bringing true Christianity to its knees and forcibly replacing it with a Godless one world government where the only allegiance permitted is to the state itself.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Rev. Pat Robertson says God has told him that storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.
The founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network has told viewers of "The 700 Club" that the revelations came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8.
He added specifics in Wednesday's show.
"There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest," he said.
Robertson has come under intense criticism in recent months for suggesting that U.S. agents should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip. Rev. Pat Robertson Praises, Then Criticizes Bush. Feels Vindicated Calling For Chavez's Assassination Added: Oct 20th, 2006 7:39 AM Robertson Praises, Criticizes Bush President Bush is a "good man" who has done much of what he hoped he would do, says the Rev. Pat Robertson. The founder and chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network is quick to add that the president has let him down on some issues, however. In an exclusive interview with WordNews.org, Robertson also declared that the recent appearance of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at the United Nations — where he called Bush "the devil" — vindicated his own August 2005 call for Chavez's assassination. Speaking of Bush, Robertson praised him for his choices of federal judges and for his tax policy. "I think his selection of judges is the one thing I asked and he has delivered," Robertson told WordNews. "His judicial appointment have been absolutely superb. Better than I could have expected." On Bush's tax policy, Robertson said: "I think his view of taxes follows in large measure what I was advocating when I ran for president. I wanted to have partial privatization of Social Security. I wanted to lower the capital gains tax. I wanted to abolish the scandal of welfare. "A lot to things I wanted to do have been put into law. I think it's very good." Turning to the Iraq war, however, Robertson said: "I think he missed it on this Iraq war. And I believe the fact that he does not seek counsel as he should is a mistake, and for some reason he is not a terribly articulate spokesperson. "He is not an eloquent speaker. He has a hard time getting his points across." He added that the president's leadership style betrays "a circle-the-wagons mentality — that anybody who disagrees with him is in trouble." Robertson also voiced criticism over Bush's failure to veto bills dealing with campaign finance reform, farms, and prescription benefits. Moreover, he said he was displeased with "these terrible deficits we're running. Congress has just run amok. I think conservatives are unhappy about that." Robertson confided that he has met with Bush in the past, revealing that "We’ve prayed together. He’s a born-again believer. In that respect he's a good guy. But he's also a politician and there's things he's done, he's signed bills into law that he should not have signed." As far as who to support in the 2008 presidential campaign, Robertson told WordNews that he has not yet settled on a candidate. "Right now we're having a difficult time saying who would be the choice," Robertson said. Nobody comes to mind." Especially himself. As far as he's concerned, the one-time presidential candidate says he knows for sure it won't be him. "Oh no. Never," he said. Robertson also told WordNews that his call last year for the assassination of Chavez, which created a media firestorm, was vindicated by Chavez's outrageous behavior at the U.N. when he called called Bush "the devil." "The devil came here yesterday," Chavez said then. "And it smells of sulfur still today." WordNews recalled that Robertson was criticized for calling for Chavez's assassination, saying in August 2005: "If he [Chavez] thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war." In response to the clamor for an apology, Robertson backed down a few days later, saying: "Is it right right to call for assassination? No, and I apologize for that statement. I spoke in frustration that we should accommodate the man who thinks the U.S. is out to kill him." Now, however, he says that he feels that Chavez's comments at the U.N. have vindicated him. "I think a lot of Christians are saying to themselves, 'Pat was right,'" Robertson told WordNews. He added that his comments were taken out of context, made in the light of a news clip that revealed "what a terrible person" Chavez is, Robertson said, as well as Chavez's claim that the U.S. wanted to kill him. "I was excoriated in the press because, after all, he’s a Marxist, and if you lay hands on a Marxist it’s a no-no," Robertson explained. "So the liberal media went after me like banshees. I saw then how bad he was, how oppressive, how dictatorial, how evil and now it’s beginning to come out and we haven’t even seen the tip of what he’s going to do. We’re looking at $3 billion worth of arms purchases. What's he going to do with those? "The Lord has a way of vindicating," he added, "and in the Chavez matter he’s vindicating every day." www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/10/19/203145.shtml?s=ic

Pat Robertson Prophesies 2007 As Last Year Of God's Grace On Earth Robertson Comments on the Year Ahead CBNNews.com - The following is a transcript of Pat Robertson's comments on the year 2007, taken from the January 2nd broadcast of The 700 Club. PAT ROBERTSON: Well, later on, I want to share some of the things that I believe the Lord showed me. And I say it with humility. We see through a glass darkly. So I will share some of those findings from a recent prayer retreat that I had. And I like to do this at the first of the year to kind of say, “Here’s what I feel or I feel the Lord is saying is going to happen.” TERRY MEEUWSEN: We had a wonderful time of prayer as we ushered in the new year yesterday. PAT ROBERTSON: Oh, marvelous. Marvelous. TERRY MEEUWSEN: It was great. PAT ROBERTSON: Yes. (Commercial Break here, followed by feature story on the year ahead in Washington) TERRY MEEUWSEN: Wow. Lots to think about as we head into this year. It’s a very interesting time in our history, isn’t it? PAT ROBERTSON: It is, indeed. TERRY MEEUWSEN: Who’s in charge makes a difference. PAT ROBERTSON: Yes, yes. TERRY MEEUWSEN: Well, we’ve got a lot to talk about. Coming up, we have a tribute to one of the founders of CBN that’s just . . . . PAT ROBERTSON: Yes. TERRY MEEUWSEN: . . . . quite an amazing man, and you’re going to share about that. PAT ROBERTSON: Well, we’ll be talking about that. And I think people, Terry, are interested in finding out, since we’re talking about 2007—I’ve been away for a prayer retreat. And I’ve put these things out with humility, but nevertheless, I have a relatively good track record. Sometimes I’ve missed. TERRY MEEUWSEN: And without doubt, every year, as you seek God, I guess this is His promise to all of us. But as you go away and seek Him for the coming year, God shows you some amazing things. PAT ROBERTSON: The first thing, Terry, that I think is God’s Word to His people, to the believers worldwide, not just here in America, and the promise is that this year is going to be a year of extraordinary miracles. And if I’m hearing the Lord right, there are such extraordinary things that are going to take place: victory over demonic powers, victory of healing, some dramatic miracles taking place in people’s lives. And the Lord said it’s going to seem to the people like Heaven has come down to earth. It’s going to be that good. It’s going to be really an extraordinary demonstration of God’s power. The other thing He said was that this is the final year of the great demonstration of His grace to the world. For the last 12 years, we have evangelism unprecedented in countries like India and Indonesia and Nigeria and so forth. And CBN right now, we have recorded somewhere in the neighborhood of 461 million decisions since the fall of communism. Well, that is going to come, I think, to an end, at least that great anointing. Well, the other thing I felt was that evil men, evil people, are going to try to do evil things to us and to others during the last part of this year. I don’t know whether it’ll be in the fall or September or later on, but it’ll be the second half, somehow, of 2007. There will be some very serious terrorist attacks. The evil people will come after this country. And there’s a possibility that—not a possibly, a definite certainty that chaos is going to rule, and the Lord said that the politicians will not have any solutions for it. There’s just going to be chaos. And, of course, we saw chaos in the Gulf after Katrina. The politicians had no answers. TERRY MEEUWSEN: I think that that rang resonant in everyone’s heart, as they looked at it and realized that when something big happens . . . . PAT ROBERTSON: We’re not ready. TERRY MEEUWSEN: . . . . there’s no solution. PAT ROBERTSON: It’s going to happen. And I’m not saying necessarily nuclear. The Lord didn’t say “nuclear,” but I do believe it’ll be something like that that’ll be a mass killing, possibly millions of people, major cities injured. I hope I’m wrong, and I hope people will pray and that won’t happen. But nevertheless, that seems to be what’s coming up. And then the Lord said He will restrain the evil people, but He will not restrain them necessarily initially. And He doesn’t have to restrain people. They’re evil people, and they do evil things, and they desire evil. The other thing on my heart and on His heart is the nation of Israel. And what He says was the United States pretends to be the supporter of Israel, but that we are pushing Israel toward national suicide, our policies are pushing Israel toward national suicide. And He also said that the policies of the current Israeli administration are, quote, “toxic” for the nation of Israel. So the last couple of years He has said that we’re entering into the most dangerous time in the history of Israel. That has been born out by this last war they had. It’s clear that another war, sooner or later, is coming. But the word was that the Olmert policies were “toxic,” “toxic” for the nation of Israel, and that the United States was feigning friendship but pushing them toward national suicide. So these are some of the things. The other thing is that there’s going to be a great anointing of His Spirit upon His people. The believers are going to have just an extraordinary time. And the last word that I got was on New Year’s Day. And that took from the tenth chapter of Ezra, when, you remember, the Jewish people had come back from captivity. The Lord had given them a little respite, and, lo and behold, they immediately began to break His word and to intermarry with the heathen people. And Ezra was overwhelmed, the scribe, and he called for a national repentance. And he said, “You’ve got to put away from you this evil.” Well, I thought, “How does this apply to us?” And the truth is that the Christians particularly have intermarried with the evil. We have television that is just full of evil. We have motion pictures full of evil. Not only violence, but sexuality and permissiveness. Then, on the Internet, we have all kinds of evil that people are allowing themselves to get into. And then, more than that, there’s this air of materialism where we’re caught up in it. And it was as if God is saying, “You’ve got to put away from yourself those heathen influences that are taking over. Because I’m going to do something wonderful for you, but it’s not going to happen unless you put away the heathen influences.” So I believe that it’s going to be—these first few months, I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be an extraordinary time, and we should expect miracles beyond our wildest fantasies in the first six months. And after then, chaotic. And we’ll be talking in subsequent programs about some of the things that you might do specifically. But the idea is what the Bible says, “Seek humility, seek righteousness, that you may be hid in the day of that wrath.” And I think we need to be . . . . TERRY MEEUWSEN: And to not be afraid. PAT ROBERTSON: Oh, why should we be afraid? TERRY MEEUWSEN: God is in control. PAT ROBERTSON: God, He’s in charge of the whole thing. TERRY MEEUWSEN: Exactly. PAT ROBERTSON: And so, if you get blown up or something, you go to Heaven, and that’s the worst thing that’ll happen to you. But we have evil people in the world. And there’s a cleric in Saudi Arabia who has issued a fatwa that gave Osama bin Laden the permission to kill ten million people in the West. A cleric. He said, “Under Islamic law, I find that you have permission to kill ten million people.” And one of the leaders of Iran was saying, “Well, if we go to war with Israel, and Israel annihilates us and we annihilate them, if it costs 18 million dead, it’ll be worth it if we can destroy Israel.” Now, we’re dealing with people who think that way. The fact that they might do a job on Chicago or Los Angeles or Washington or New York, we shouldn’t be surprised, because they’re evil people. TERRY MEEUWSEN: Well, they’ve said that’s their intention. PAT ROBERTSON: They’ve said that’s what they’re going to do. But God said He’s going to restrain the evil, but He isn’t necessarily going to restrain it from the beginning. TERRY MEEUWSEN: Right. PAT ROBERTSON: And so, a lot of these things can be reversed. We just need to do a lot of praying. But I think seek righteousness, seek humility, and we’ll be passing out some tips about what to do in case of disaster. I didn’t get a whole lot of word about natural disasters. Last year, the Lord said the coasts would be lashed by storms. Not necessarily hurricanes, but lashed. Up in New England, lashed. Denver—well not (the) coast, but the Pacific Northwest. And then, of course, over in the Philippines, two typhoons, one right after the other. Coasts around have been lashed by storms. I don’t know that we’re going to have a great many natural disasters, at least I don’t have any message in terms of that. TERRY MEEUWSEN: It’d be nice to have a respite in that area after all this. PAT ROBERTSON: Well, I can’t guarantee it; I just didn’t hear anything. Okay. Watch the video of Pat Robertson's predictions for 2007 on our video player above. www.cbn.com/CBNnews/80676.aspx

Pat Robertson of the '700 Club' shockingly endorsed cross-dressing Republican candidate, Rudy Giuliani.NEWS BRIEF: "Televangelist Pat Robertson Backs Giuliani For President", by Libby Quaid, The Press Democrat, November 8, 2007 "Televangelist Pat Robertson, founder of the Christian Coalition, endorsed Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani on Wednesday. 'It is my pleasure to announce my support for America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, a proven leader who is not afraid of what lies ahead and who will cast a hopeful vision for all Americans', Robertson said during a news conference with Giuliani in Washington." Why on earth would a Christian televangelist endorse Liberal, pro-gay, pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani for President? Please take the time to read NEWS1940, for you will discover a far different Rudy Giuliani than the one you think you know. For example: The gay Republican lobby group, Log Cabin Republicans, was very supportive of Rudy Giuliani: "The Log Cabin Republicans praise the Republican National Convention for its choice of inclusive, big tent Republicans to speak in primetime at the convention in New York City. Included in this list are former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Arizona Senator John McCain, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and New York Governor George Pataki. Additionally, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will open the convention." Another example: NEWS BRIEF: "DNC Guesses RNC Convention Theme: With friends like these…Who needs to put right wingers on TV?", All American Patriots, June 30, 2004 "Rudy Giuliani : Giuliani supports gun control, abortion rights, and gay rights. As Mayor, Giuliani frequently voiced support for the progressive causes of gun control, abortion rights, and gay rights." Pastor Chuck Baldwin then hits this nail right on the head: NEWS BRIEF: "Giuliani Is Everyone's Worst Nightmare", by Chuck Baldwin, September 21, 2007 "Rudy Giuliani is everyone's worst nightmare. That Rudy Giuliani is currently trying to cast himself as a conservative is beyond laughable--it is hilarious. This is a man who is unabashedly pro-abortion. He has been seen walking down Fifth Avenue with thousands of homosexuals demanding 'gay rights'. He himself is a cross-dresser. He has had numerous marriages and only God knows how many sexual affairs. He has been one of the country's most radical proponents of gun control. He made New York a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and is a strong proponent of amnesty for illegal aliens. As a prosecutor, his abuse of power and disregard for law are legendary." "... the umbilical cord connecting the SPP, NAFTA Superhighway and burgeoning North American Union is also connected to Rudy Giuliani." Rudy Giuliani is an unabashed Liberal, until he was tapped to run on the Republican platform for President. Then, Giuliani recast himself as a Conservative. The power of Mass Media to paint a totally false picture of someone is frightening. But, the core subject here is that Pat Robertson has absolutely no business throwing the power and prestige of his TV ministry behind Rudy Giuliani! Do you remember that Pat Robertson recently promoted Preacher Dan Stratton even though Stratton has publicly admitted that he is a lifelong member of the Satanic Skull & Bones secret society? In fact, Pat Robertson seemed determined to allow Dan Stratton to whitewash Skull & Bones. You can read this awful story in NEWS2241, "Meet Dan Stratton: Evangelical Pastor - Bonesman!" Unfortunately, we have to conclude that Pat Robertson is simply a worker for the Republican Party first and for President Bush secondly. I have believed for the past 20 years that Christians should not be involved in the dirty, compromising world of politics. It is too easy to become mislead by leaders who say they are Christian and espouse Christian words and doctrines, only to mislead their followers at key points. Sadly, Pat Robertson seems to have branded himself through actions like this. www.cuttingedge.org
