YHWH will give strength unto his people; YHWH will bless his people with peace. Psalms 29:11
Yeshua promised us that He would fill us with His Spirit- That He would literally 'live in us'- if we 'follow Him'.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galations 2:20
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14
The truth is very unpopular. "Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways [from] the ancient paths, to walk in paths, [in] a way not cast up; Jeremiah 18:15
This is Faith. Faith that you are lead by the Spirit of Truth, and not the spirit of error. Faith that what you believe is true by the knowing of God's manifestation in your life! Faith unto death!
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
What is this faith for Salvation?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Eph 2:8
Paul said that it is faith that justifies us before God, not anything we- ourselves can do. (justify-"to make innocent)
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:28
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Galatians 2:16
Notice in Gal 2:16 Paul says "faith of Jesus Christ". The difference is that we still must act! Is this a contradiction? What makes justification possible? What must we do to be saved!?
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:8,9
It is faith in Christ's sacrafice and His shed Blood which will allow us to stand before Him!
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 2: 24.25
GLORY! Halleluiah!!!
Yeshua linked faith with repentance and told us what we are to believe:
...Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14,14
We can only know the true Gospel through the Spirit of God! Without this we will be led away into deception, into error! It is not something to 'think', or 'debate'- it is Jesus Christ living in US!
Those who respond to YHWH in faith, true and living faith, become the spiritual offspring of Abraham the seed of Israel!
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Gal 3:6-9
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
Paul and Silas told the Phillipian jailer the requirement for salvation;
And <<<HE>>> brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:30-32
Jesus taught those Jews who believed on Him the requirements of a living faith "As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:30-32
What about sin?
Once a person believes and repents it is still possible for them to sin, even to fall away. Sorry, no OSAS! The consequences of falling away are " judgment and fiery indignation"!
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:26-29
This is a warning to heed! Paul reconized this in his epistle to the Corinthians: " But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
He admonished them "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" The living Jesus in US! We are told to "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus". We are to follow his example, and by this He lives in us!
If we stumble we must repent! If we do not repent, the Spirit of God is not in us- for we believe we have no sin- the Spirit convicts us of sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:8,9
Praise YHWH for His salvation!!!
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 2:1
We are to lead a totally yeilded, surrendered life, as Christ did.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1, 2
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Eph 4:22-24
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: John 1:12
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
We are commanded to overcome in our daily lives. This is the 'work'!
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Revelation 2:26
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2:1
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:7
Luke 12:37 Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Praise YHWH!!
